This is a beautiful novel about finding salvation in art. Meet 82 Year Old Honey Fasinga, feisty, glamorous and subsisting on a diet of valium and viognier who returns home to New Jersey after decades working as a patron of the arts in auction houses in New York and Los Angeles. Having escaped her violent childhood ( the eldest daughter of a notorious mobster) she is now ready to reconcile with her past and try to reconnect with her family. The novel has a wonderful cast of characters, and is a gorgeous portrayal of love in all its many forms.
